SUMMER DAY CAMP

Jump Rope Paradise Camp Experience the ultimate summer adventure with our Jump Rope Paradise Camp! These week-long camps combine traditional summer fun with world-class jump rope instruction. Campers enjoy morning assembly, daily swim time, beach activities, and intensive jump rope skill development sessions.

RECREATIONAL CLASSES

Jump 2B Fit Sessions (Ages 5-14) Our J2BF recreational sessions introduce young athletes to single rope and double dutch skills in a fun, non-competitive environment. Perfect for beginners or those wanting to explore the sport without competition pressure.

Classes meet once weekly in 10-week sessions. No tryouts required!

TEAM PROGRAMS

JUNIOR SQUAD

Tryouts Required

The Juniors on the Bermy Bouncers are an enthusiastic and talented introductory group dedicated to gaining experience and confidence. This team serves as the foundational training group, providing a supportive environment for athletes to develop their abilities and understand team dynamics. Athletes must be a junior for at least one year, ensuring they are well-prepared and committed before advancing to the competitive team. The Juniors play a vital role in representing Bermy Bouncers and building the future of our jump rope community.

  • Practice: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 PM
  • Season: September through mid-June
  • Focus: Skill development, routine creation

COMPETITION AND PERFORMANCE TEAM

The Bermy Bouncers also feature a performance based team who have surpassed the junior level but do not compete. Their primary focus is on delivering high-quality performances across the island, entertaining audiences at community events. These performers play a vital role in promoting jump rope and fostering community spirit through their dynamic and engaging routines, inspiring others and showcasing the talent and energy of Bermuda’s jump rope community.

The Bermy Bouncers’ competitive team is a dedicated group of talented athletes who represent Bermuda on the international stage through various showcases and competitions. These team members are committed to excellence in their routines, showcasing advanced skills and precision in tumbling, acrobatics, and jump rope. They actively participate in local and global events, serving as ambassadors of Bermuda’s vibrant jump rope community and demonstrating their athleticism, teamwork, and discipline.

  • Practice: Tuesdays & Thursdays – 4:30-7:30PM | Wednesdays – 4:30-6:30PM | Saturdays – 9:00-11:00AM
  • Season: September through late June/mid-July (varies based on competitions)
  • Focus:  Skill development, Competition preparation, Routine creation

All candidates will demonstrate:

    • Level 1 Team Routine
    • Single Rope Skills
    • Speed Elements
    • Double Unders
    • Rhythm Control

Elite Team Candidates: Should demonstrate mastery of most required skills
Developmental Candidates: May qualify while still developing certain skills

It is recommended that candidates do at least one full year of our recreational sessions before trying out for the national team.
